One-day experience
Our One-Day Whisky Distilling Experience serves as an introduction to the process, and the opportunity to work on the stills and mash tun. Each participant will leave with a small bottle of new-make spirit that they distilled on-site, plus a Certificate of Distilling.
Three-day experience
Our Three-Day Whisky Making Experience builds on this introduction, with participants getting involved in the whole process; from bags of crushed malted barley (grist) to the final distillation. You’ll l see each step in detail as you spend a day on each phase of whisky production.
In addition, you’ll leave with a small bottle of new-make spirit, a Certificate of Distilling and a toast to your successful whisky making experience.
Five-day experience
Our Five-Day Whisky Making School is the ultimate whisky making experience. Essentially, our distillery is yours for the week as you become part of our Orkney team, learn tricks of the trade from our Lead Distiller, and experience the entire whisky making process.
Over a period of 5 full days, you will start with malted barley and on your last day, you’ll distil your own new-make spirit from the batch you started. Participants will leave this experience with a Certificate of Distilling and a small 3-litre cask of their own whisky.

All whisky experiences will accommodate 2 people maximum.
